Looptrex Privacy Policy

Effective Date: August 6, 2025
Last Updated: August 14, 2026

Looptrex respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Looptrex website, mobile application, and related services collectively referred to as the “Service.”

1. Information We Collect

Sellers and Property Representatives

When you use seller features, Looptrex may collect:

  • Your mobile phone number, which is used to create and deliver Property Codes and property-offer notifications.
  • Your Looptrex Property Code and related property number.
  • Records of notifications sent, including delivery status, date, time, and associated Property Code.
  • Consent records relating to SMS communications.
  • Technical, security, and operational information reasonably needed to maintain and protect the Service.

Buyers and Buyer Representatives

Looptrex does not require buyers using the Ping Tool to provide a name, telephone number, email address, or other direct personal contact information.

When a buyer submits a ping, Looptrex may process the Property Code, notification request, date and time, delivery status, and limited technical or security information needed to operate and protect the Service.

Website and App Information

Looptrex and its service providers may automatically receive limited technical information when you access the Service, such as device, browser, operating-system, network, log, diagnostic, security, and usage information.

2. How We Use Information

Looptrex may use information to:

  • Generate and maintain Looptrex Property Codes.
  • Send SMS messages and other property-offer notifications.
  • Confirm that a ping request was accepted or processed.
  • Maintain notification history, delivery status, and ping totals.
  • Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, secure, and improve the Service.
  • Prevent fraud, spam, harassment, misuse, and unauthorized access.
  • Respond to questions, support requests, privacy requests, and notices.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce the Looptrex Terms of Service.

Looptrex does not use a ping to verify that an offer exists, determine the terms of an offer, confirm delivery of transaction documents, or participate in a real estate transaction.

3. SMS Communications

When a seller provides a mobile phone number, checks the applicable consent box, and uses seller features, Looptrex may send SMS messages concerning Property Codes, property-offer notifications, service activity, and related operational communications.

  • Message and data rates may apply.
  • Message frequency may vary.
  • Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of any purchase or sale.
  • You may opt out by following the instructions included in an SMS message, when available, or by contacting support@looptrex.com.

Mobile carriers and messaging providers may process information needed to transmit messages. Looptrex cannot guarantee that every message will be delivered or received.

4. Sharing of Information

Looptrex does not sell or rent your personal information.

Looptrex may disclose limited information to trusted service providers that help operate the Service, including providers of:

  • SMS and communications services.
  • Cloud hosting and application infrastructure.
  • Database storage and security.
  • App-store, device-platform, and technical services.
  • Analytics, diagnostics, fraud prevention, and support.

These providers may process information only as needed to provide their services to Looptrex and subject to their applicable agreements and privacy practices.

Looptrex may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, protect the rights or safety of users or others, investigate misuse, enforce applicable agreements, or complete a business reorganization, transfer, merger, or similar transaction.

5. Privacy-Preserving Service Design

Looptrex is designed to allow a buyer to notify a seller through a Property Code without requiring the buyer to receive or use the seller’s personal mobile phone number.

Seller contact information is not displayed to buyers through the Ping Tool. Buyer personal contact information is not required for the basic Ping Tool process.

A notification may identify the relevant Property Code but is not intended to contain the terms of an offer or other real estate transaction documents.

6. Data Security

Looptrex uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.

These safeguards may include access controls, secure hosting, protected database systems, transmission safeguards, monitoring, and security procedures. No internet, mobile, messaging, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

7. Data Retention

Looptrex retains information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide and maintain the Service, send and document notifications, protect users and the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information, the purpose for which it is processed, operational needs, security requirements, and applicable law.

8. Your Choices and Privacy Requests

Depending on applicable law and the nature of the information, you may request that Looptrex:

  • Provide information about personal information associated with your mobile phone number.
  • Correct eligible inaccurate information.
  • Delete eligible personal information.
  • Stop certain communications.

To submit a request, contact support@looptrex.com. Looptrex may need to verify your identity or authority before completing a request.

Some information may be retained when reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, recordkeeping, dispute resolution, or other permitted purposes.

9. Age Requirement and Minors’ Privacy

Looptrex is intended only for individuals who are at least 18 years of age. The Service is not directed to children or minors, and Looptrex does not knowingly permit individuals under 18 to use the Service or knowingly collect personal information from them.

If you believe that a person under 18 has provided personal information to Looptrex, contact support@looptrex.com. If Looptrex becomes aware that it collected personal information from a person under 18, Looptrex will take reasonable steps to delete it, subject to applicable legal, security, and operational requirements.

10. Third-Party Services and Links

The Service may depend on or link to third-party services, including mobile carriers, messaging providers, hosting providers, database providers, app stores, device platforms, and websites.

Those third parties operate under their own terms and privacy practices. Looptrex is not responsible for the privacy practices, content, availability, or security of third-party services that it does not control.

11. United States Processing

Looptrex operates in the United States. Information may be processed and stored in the United States by Looptrex and its service providers, subject to applicable law and appropriate safeguards.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

Looptrex may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material updates will be posted within the Service, on the Looptrex website, or through another reasonable notice method.

The revised Privacy Policy will identify its effective or last-updated date. Your continued use of the Service after an updated Privacy Policy becomes effective constitutes acknowledgment of the updated policy, except where applicable law requires additional notice or consent.

15. How Data Is Handled — Plain-Language Summary

Looptrex is designed to use limited information necessary to provide its property-notification service.

Seller Information

A seller or property representative provides a mobile phone number so Looptrex can create and support Property Codes and deliver property-offer notifications.

The seller's mobile phone number is not displayed to buyers through the Ping Tool.

Buyer Activity

A buyer using the basic Ping Tool is not required to provide Looptrex with a name, telephone number, or email address.

After an offer has been submitted through the appropriate real estate channels, the buyer uses the Looptrex Property Code associated with the property to initiate a notification to the seller.

Property Codes and Notifications

Looptrex may maintain Property Codes, related property numbers, notification records, delivery information, dates and times, ping totals, consent records, and limited technical or security information needed to operate, protect, and maintain the Service.

Looptrex does not use a Property Code or ping to obtain or display the terms of an underlying real estate offer.

Service Providers

Looptrex uses service providers for functions such as SMS delivery, cloud hosting, database infrastructure, application distribution, security, and technical operations. These providers may process limited information necessary to perform their services.

Security

Looptrex uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. However, no internet-connected, mobile, messaging, or data-storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Privacy-First Design

The purpose of the Looptrex Property Code system is to allow a buyer to notify a seller that an offer has been submitted without requiring the buyer to receive the seller's private mobile phone number.

This section is a plain-language summary. Additional details regarding collection, use, sharing, retention, security, and privacy rights are provided elsewhere in this Privacy Policy.
